I saw a kids show about dinosaurs called Dino Dan and they had an episode about what the Trex used its arms for and they showed in the cartoon that they used them to push themselves off the ground if they fell over, I guess mating and killing prey was too crazy for them to talk about in the show (other than mating)

Cats domesticate us in ways that are not mutually exclusive with our domestication of them. This happens often with companion animals. Livestock have less impact on their herders.

I know science doesn’t consider local folklore to fit with actual history but here in Micronesia many island cultures have legends about little island spirits or dwarf-like people that populated some islands before our ancestors arrived on our boats. It’s very interesting to think that some of these legends might have some basis in reality.

It's too damn bad man doesn't still have large numbers of formidable adversaries they hunt him down. Predation would be great at keeping numbers of a species, in particular, Homeo Erectus, in check. Also, by remaining the alpha species for so long, this allowed man to dominate Earth to such a wild extent he managed to entirely screw up this world, perhaps to the point of no return. Way to go humans!
